Our forty year old company is growing and has an important job to fill. The scale service technician checks, tests, & adjusts weighing
scales and related weighing equipment to ensure accuracy for our customers. The job involves repairs & troubleshooting as well.
Strong mechanical, electrical, electronic and technical background in industrial environment is required. Job is based in Sanford, NC.
You will drive typically each day to locations within a 75 mile radius of Sanford and back.
Scale technicians will need to perform in a variety of conditions. This includes some evening & weekend work, working outdoors in
heat/cold, and working around industrial facilities. This is not a job where you put on a white coat & gloves. Scale technicians will get
dirty quite often. The job can be physically demanding as the technician must be able to stand and walk around for extended periods
of time and be able to lift heavy objects on a regular basis.
Duties Maintenance, calibration and/or repair & troubleshooting of Industrial Scales  Respond to Call Service (Emergency) to fix and repair Customer's Scales - calls could be during or after working hours. Must
be willing to work some overtime and occasional weekend hours.  Mostly perform calibration / repair work with senior tech and then unsupervised (after training).  Consistently maintain good work attendance and productive work ethic.  Troubleshooting of electronic devices and basic computer skills  Strong interpersonal and customer service skills  Requires valid driver's license, clean driving history & pass drug test  Need to be willing to obtain Class B CDL driver’s license within 3 months of hire
